Review: Say goodbye to crappy leather belts. - Best Belt. I've always worn leather belts, but in the past 10 years or so the quality of leather has turned to utter crap. Used to be a leather belt would not start to lose color or deform for a couple of years. Nowadays they last a month or so before delaminating. It's like leather belts are now made of thin layers of leather and cardboard glued together. They tear, the holes get torn out etc. THIS silicone belt is the answer. Looks great and stays looking great. Super supple yet doesn't stretch. It won't get that kink in the back loop like leather belts. It doesn't lose color or stretch or deform if it gets wet. Feel free to sweat all over the dang thing. It's a great belt for work, and also a dressy looking belt. You don't need to be a Pro golfer to wear it. The only golf I've ever played is miniature golf. BTW, the measurement is spot on. I bought the 36 inch, and it measures 36 inches from where the buckle attaches to the middle of the 7 holes. I wear size 36 pants and I use the middle of the 7 holes. Because the holes are very close to the tip of the belt, it can seem a little short when tucking the tail into the first loop in your pants. That's why the 38 would also fit me fine and I may buy my nest one in that size. I will be buying other colors. The only issue I've had with this belt is that it's square shape on the tip can make it hard to fish through your belt loops. I rounded the corners a little on a grinding wheel and sanded them smooth, now it's a bit better. You could probably just use a good snips to do the same.
Review: A Somewhat unusual Belt that Hits All the High Marks for Casual and Dress Casual Wear - This is one of my favorite belts. It's made of a silicone-type material, but when you feel it, you might not notice it. It almost feels like a non-manmade material. It is exceptionally smooth and not as physically heavy as I would have expected. It also seems very sturdy. When you place the clasp into the hole of choice, you don't see any pull or stretch in the material. It seems very durable and long lasting. The style probably doesn't lend itself to dress clothing, but if you are using the black or brown, you can use it for casual dress, and then, of course, for casual wear (or golfing, if you are a golfer!). It's a somewhat unusual belt compared to others I've used, and I like it very much. The ability to get it in a vriety of colors allows you to have fun with it, too. I would rate this as a five-star item.

**Q: Is it waterproof?**
A: It's made of silicone so the actual belt is waterproof but the buckle is metal and may oxidize if exposed to a lot of water or not dried off properly.

**Q: What is the width of this belt?  1.25", 1 3/8" 1 1/2"?**
A: It is 1/5 inches.  I worried it would be too wide for some belt loops, but it fits all I have tried so far.

**Q: If my husband wears a 31 pants, should I get 32 or 34? Thanks.**
A: Hello. I'm a fit 170 lbs and wear 32 pants. I bought a size 34 and I'd say its perfect. My belt has 7 holes and I use the middle hole - this means I have 3 holes in either direction for adjustment. If you don't plan on letting your husband gain weight, you might want to consider the 32. I hope this helps.  Edit: I just read some of the other reviews and would like to add the following: If your hubby weighs less than 170 and is lean (no love handles), I believe the 34 would be slightly too long.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Belt ... But Not Long Lasting

I love these belts for golf. They add color or match your attire. They are also a nice width which keeps your waist band from rolling over. The one drawback is that they are made of plastic and will not hold up indefinitely, especially with constant use. If you keep using the same eye hole it will most likely eventually break. I think I got four years out of my last one .... so that's not too bad. Other than that I would have given belt a 5-Star.
