I use Unity, Visual Studio, and Blender for game dev. I originally tried to return this after the first day because of the heating and fan noise. The company happily obliged and offered to help me troubleshoot the issues. The bottom line, and I highly recommend this to any buyer is this: Please consider a factory reset after initial setup. The performance and speed were night and day. I can’t speak to the battery because I always have it plugged in when running intensive GPU programs.I’ve tried a lot of other laptops that were good for gaming but couldn’t handle development. This laptop is the best option in my humble opinion.
