Review: Guaranteed to sprout. 5th time ordering - This is my fifth purchase. This particular product is organic and always sprout, so I keep buying them. When I don't have enough vegetables in my fridge or I'm too busy to go shopping, I use these seeds to make sprouts. They're a mix of different seeds, so they're not too spicy and have just the right flavor. My kids can eat them without any problems. To prepare them, soak them overnight and drain them the next morning. A dark place is best. Rinse them every time you pass through the kitchen and they will be ready to eat in about 3 days. If you don't have time, you can eat them as is, but if you have time, leave them in a sunny spot for about half a day on the 4th day so they can photosynthesize and have more nutrients. I have never had a case where they didn't sprout after doing this. Buying a small bag of organic sprout mix at a store or local farmer's market could cost about $10 here, but I can make a big jar for less than a dollar. Also, store bought sprouts don't last long, so it's great to be able to make your own. By the way, I store the unused seeds at room temperature. In the past I have refrigerated or even froze them. **Q: What is the expiration date for these**
A: January 2024 , they are raw seed so there are no expiration dates required but from when we receive the raw seed and package them you have minimum 3 years for a good germination rate but they can be viable to sprout up to 8 years

**Q: How many grams of this mix do I need for a 12X10 tray?**
A: I have used my jar 3x's already and found 1 tbsp is plenty but doing as area of 12x10 I would use 2 tbsp. You will have a lot to eat, trust me!

**Q: Stones / Rocks the size of seeds - sick of chipping and cracking teeth - and I don't believe there are none in there - what is your experience?**
A: I haven’t had that experience. Honestly, I am doing it in a Mason jar now and it is so easy. Rinse it a couple times and then soak the seeds for a few hours, then rinse again and then let them drain. Repeat a couple times the rinse and drain, and on the third day they are sprouting. No issues with rocks or hard seeds.

**Q: Can these be planted in microgreens tays, or just sprouted?**
A: Yes, these can certainly be grown as microgreens. My personal experience with doing this is that the different varieties will not grow at the same rate. Expect some of the sprouted greens to be ready before the rest, so a single tray will get you a good two or more harvests.
