Buy a baby bottle brush to help with cleaning the inside of the fountain - makes it much easier. I have left the fountain running non-stop for over 7 hours and it worked great - no over heating. The key is to use fountain / fondue chocolate as it has the right consistency - when using normal chocolate you have to add in oil and you have the worry of burning out your motor. I got the SF chocolate but Walmart have a god brand too.
