I got the Koa glossy version. Just gorgeous workmanship. So tiny and adorable!! I am a guitarist, but I've never dealt with an instrument with nylon strings before. I noticed immediately that it takes a bit to tune it. You have to tune it, then re-tune it, then re-tune it, etc..., until it is finally in tune. Once in tune, it gives you that classical Ukelele sound. I suspect that it will take a while before the strings are stretched enough to stay in tune for extended periods. That's fine, because you should always tune your instrument before you play it anyway. I think that is just the way nylon strings are. It is a pure joy to play. Learn a few chords, and just strum away. I highly recommend this little Ukelele. Nice little instrument, and you can't beat the price!! After I read all the reviews I decided to purchase this concert professional ukulele. Comfortable to hold. Frets smooth. Aquila strings easy on my 74 year old fingers. I like the strap which was easy to install. At times when standing up to play keeps ukulele from sliding around. I like the sound too. I am a member of a ukulele group and we perform out in the community. The only thing I don’t like are the tuning pegs. Can see the gears. Most are covered to make a nicer appearance. But they are easy to use, unlike my beginner ukulele.
