Plenty thick for it’s size. **Q: why is this board so much heavier than other inflatable boards?** A: It’s not. **Q: Is it 6 inches or 4? Which one you actually received?** A: 4 inches. More than sufficient for anyone small enough to use it. The board is perfect for my 10 year old. I’m 5’7” and 140 lbs. It’s not unstable under me but too small for good tracking. **Q: Does anyone know of an electric pump that fits the Kahawai board? The one I bought has a nozzle that is slightly too small and it does not seal.** A: I bought a cheap one off of amazon that works great. After doing our research we found Hydro-Force. These guys have many different sizes and we end up buying this and a larger one as well. The Oceana is defiantly the wider and stable board. Our goal was buy something that we can use it to bring our kid and the dog on the water as well and this product has defiantly delivered. If you have more experience and want something faster then look at their FastBlast module.
