KRYTOX lubricants are high performance greases composed of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) based oils with sub-micron particles of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as thickener. Pioneered by DuPont and developed for NASA Space Missions in the 1960s, now the lubrication solution of choice in conditions of temperature extremes, high oxygen content and chemical environments. KRYTOX is chemically inert, has no reaction with oxygen, and is extremely high and low temperature stable. DuPont continuously experiments with Krytox to expand the range of consumer applications.
