I washed with a mild dishwashing detergent and cleaning all the stitching as well. With a non damaging nylon brush. I used saddle soap liberally each section of the shoe/boot and startling cleaning it with saddle soap and adding more if I needed it. Cleaned all of my boots this way. Rinse it off make sure that you get everything off. Wipe down the whole piece with a clean cotton rag and to absorb moisture and water from rinsing it(so important) then let it air dry until that you’re comfortable massaging Chamberlains no1 you’ll see the colors and shapes coming back.let dry from a few hours to days.
