Is this a receptacle? I have a 2 prong plug does this work?** A: OK, the vendors description is a little confusing, but this "receptacle" will receive the female end, two holes, on the end coming from your trolling motor. The vendor actually says a male plug will have protrusions to connect to the female end. If you look at the photos in the questions, it clearly has those protrusions, inside a female receiver, there only to make the connection more secure. A photo with the other product photos, showing the two copper prongs in the middle. This is turning into rocket science/biology and it shouldn't. **Q: what size are the mounting are the two screws?** A: It depends on what you're mounting it on. Wood, Fiberglass, Aluminum, Plastic. I mounted mine into wood so I just used some short decking screws that the head of the screw was no larger then the holes on the connector. **Q: I need 24v and what is the amp capability?** A: The 14366-6 is a 12V unit.
