I am glad it isn't a daily (or 2x daily) product because I don't think I would use it. There is nothing I see that is bad, so go for it if you think it sounds like a good fit otherwise. Middle of road 3 stars (don't love it, but don't hate it)My skin: mid 40s, dry, clear, supple, minimal to no lines, have Rosacea (redness, visible veins, non-acne). I'm just not feeling or seeing anything with use. Now, I do already have some great skin care, and I am simply looking for "even better". I thought this sounded like an intriguing skin care item, but I am yet to love it. Maybe by the time I finish the bottle I will have a better idea. If I experience something worthwhile to share, I will come back to do so.I find it to be a little drying feeling. It says to follow with a moisturizer if have dry skin. So I do. However, I don't care to compensate for their use of DRYING alcohols, especially starting off high in the ingredient list. Denatured alcohol has its uses in skin care, but those with dry, sensitive skin should avoid it. It is astringent and likely helps produce the "tightened" or tingly sensation 9as well as horse chesnut). I could be off, but this is what I think my skin is not impressed with. The rest of the ingredients look pretty good to me. Love the inclusion of algae-- that is a great skin care ingredient for anti-aging. Other aspects:--Light, serum-like viscosity.--Absorbs super quick--Leaves slightly tacky feel--Not exactly drying right away, but definitely follow with moisturizer if have dry skin--Might be great on oily skin, or combination skin--It DOES work well under foundation. I dont often wear makeup, but I tried it as a primer for purpose of testing for this review (and trying to find an additional purpose after finding I don't love it as a treatment).--Might be best for those with sagging, lack of firmness/elasticity, noticeable collagen loss, or lines. This isn't specifically an age thing- just a lifestyle/hereditary thing. So someone in their late 20s may have these signs, and someone in their early 50s do not. As this product is created to address those things, I wonder if it would simply be more effective/noticeable for those who are currently dealing with it. I tried the "apply to half the face" test, and just never see a difference. So, I relegate to use 2-3 times per week, and so far.. not loving it.--seems ok on my skin in terms of redness/flushing. This is one of those products. It's more like a gel. Any skin care product that has “instant” results is usually relying on ingredients that aren’t always the best for your skin to achieve a temporary tightening effect. This product has alcohol very high up on on the ingredient list, and while I didn't experience tightening, I did experience increased dryness.After a week of usage I still have not noticed any of the “immediate“ effects of this product. I have stopped using the product because I think it is contributing to breakouts where I didn’t have any before adding this product into my routine. I followed the instructions and followed the mask with moisturizer, but this just may not be the right fit for my dry skin. It has not seemed to add anything to my skin, but long term results for topical products tend to take a long time to show. I am familiar with a wide range of facial beauty products. I have used the anti-aging collagen boost facial leave-on mask for around two and a half weeks. I take a pro-active approach to skincare and look for products that perform above and beyond normal skincare. I like to see results and not wait long durations for small changes. This mask performed better than I expected. I use this product in the evening. I noticed that my skin has looked brighter and pores have been smaller. My facial skin's tone and texture had a bright and new look within the very first few days of use. Since it has been working well, I have used it under my makeup as well for extra benefit. I have not noticed a dramatic change in tightening but have noticed a difference in the health of my skin. I like that the product that works noticeably. The smell starts off astringent and then has a sort of citrus like aroma. The ending aroma smells a bit aged which is not my favorite but it is mild and the performance outways the smell. The serum/mask is thin and absorbs quickly. It is a tan color and is easy to apply. It leaves a slightly sticky cast but it is not at all uncomfortable. 1.7 ounces of product is a pretty generous supply. However, it would be wonderful if it were available in a larger bottle.
