Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes because of the state my hair was in, but it’s actually done a decent job. The colour came out much darker than I expected (though I know it’ll fade with a few washes). It’s covered all the balayage highlights, but to be fair, I expected that too. I do feel it’s a true cool brown, and if I’d used it before the balayage disaster, it probably would’ve neutralised any brassy tones in the highlights perfectly.
