These bags are the perfect size to vacuum seal the one pound blocks so they can go into the hot water bath. Thick enough to handle the bath and the freezer, they seal well and have worked great for my purposes. This is my third purchase. The bags are spacious, strong/thick, & seals well. Vertically opening bags accommodates most needs, but I also have a spare horizontally sealing package of bags.Only gripe is the perforations are at the opposite end of bag opening (-1 star would be warranted, but I’m genuinely that enthralled with anova as of thus) meaning when it’s vacuum sealed everything is stuck behind/at/before the perforations, but I get why you can have it near the opening end.
