You never have to remove it when going through security. It does a great job of holding up your pants and is way more adjustable than a regular belt. I also love how I dont have to undo a belt when I use the restroom. Just so convenient! It also doesn't make a bulge under the front of your untucked shirt like a regular belt. It is so comfortable. Doesn't cut in to you when you sit down. This is my second set of these and will buy them again if I ever need another set.
