I have been using Fekkai reparative oil for several years because it’s been the only oil to make my hair silky. Lately it’s been more difficult to find and I can only order from fekkai. It’s $25 plus tax and shipping so I decided to give something else a try. So glad I did! This Redken oil has very similar ingredients to the Fekkai one but it’s more product and comes in a pump which is much more convenient than the Fekkai bottle which has a dropper type application that never distributed enough and usually malfunctions. This Redken oil transformed the texture of my hair. I use two full pumps on damp hair and another pump on dry. It gives me softness like nothing I’ve used. It outperforms the Fekkai oil by far. It doesn’t make the hair feel heavy or weighed down at all. Scent is subtle. This is the only product I use in my hair now. Got to throw out my leave in conditioners and protein leave in. It’s nice to cut down on hair time having just one product.
