Mistakenly bought the sodium version last time. But it was a good mistake as now I use both. With the sodium type you can use a LOT less. It gets gummy and doesn't go down as easy as the calcium, but its benefits are excellent as an internal cleanse and for minerals. However, I can't go w/o this calcium clay as it's my fave and although you may need to use more than the sodium, it goes down easier, has a pleasant taste, and is great for brushing teeth as it doesn't clog the drain since it's less gummy - good to mix with baking soda or activated charcoal. It also has the same health benefits as the sodium so now I alternate. Externally, both are good for cuts, (makes them heal quickly), mosquito bites, and face masks. Have tried a lot of brands, but this brand is my fave since it's consistently of good quality and good price.
