Todays date is 9/30/23** A: The expiration date on my HP is 12/01/2023. However, according to my English born husband, it doesn’t really expire. We always use it til the bottle is empty and we’re still alive and kicking. **Q: How far from the experation date are they? Some purchasers have complained about being too close to the experation date.** A: experiation of our current stock is 4 Jan 2020, keep in mind this is British and in Britain unlike the US the date is read day/month/year **Q: What is the current expiration date? It's now May 20th 2021** A: Current expiration date is March 1st 2023 **Q: is it Vegan?** A: "Here is a list of the ingredients; the only possible problem might be the caramel but most websites say it is vegan. Water Vinegar Glucose-Fructose Tomato puree Blackstrap molasses Dates Cornstarch Salt Orange juice Onions Spices Apple juice Mustard flour Caramel Most of those ingredients are obviously vegan. The only ones that might not be are caramel and molasses. However, as I’ve written about in detail, caramel may or may not be vegan as it may contain dairy. I don’t think that’s particularly likely for a sauce like this, but it is possible. Molasses sometimes isn’t because it can be made with sugar that’s filtered with bone char. In this case, since Brown Sauce isn’t made in North America, you don’t need to worry about it. Verdict: HP Brown Sauce Might Be Vegan We can’t be 100% sure if the caramel or molasses is vegan.
