I used it for the first time about 1 week after receiving it and it performed very well it turned a 2 hour job into 20 minutes. So for £116 it’s money well spent. It seems very robust and you can feel the quality but then it is makita. All in all I’m very happy with this it’s worth the money. If you mean can you use it like a ratchet (manual , no power) to get things started, then yes but I wouldn't go using it to remove car wheel nuts, it's not really that heavy duty. It's torque figure is quite low. It's mainly for getting nuts and bolts in and out quickly and in quite awkward to get at places. I think the torque is 45, something to crack nuts has several 100.
