Many cleansers have often irritated my wife's skin, so I thought she could try this and see how it performed. Our son often uses acne-specific washes, but those seem to give him patches of dry, flaky skin with constant use. So again, something to offer a bit of change and relief from the medicated washes seemed like a good idea.The list of ingredients is long, and some of them weren't very familiar to us. They seem to all be natural, plant-based products, which is good. It being "organic" doesn't really mean as much to us as it does to others, as particularly in this case I'm not sure it makes much of a difference. I can see using it in terms of foods, as it means you won't be ingesting any pesticides. But with a face cleanser, how much difference does organic really make? So, it's a minor plus, though I have a feeling it's more of a selling point than it is a benefit when using the product. Organic is all the rage these days, whether it makes sense in context or not.After using the cleanser, my wife said it seems to do its job well, and her skin didn't itch or burn afterwards. My son didn't particularly seem to notice a difference between this and his normal face wash, but it didn't seem to leave any dry skin around his nose after use. I think perhaps using this cleanser once a day and then his acne-medicated cleanser the other part of the day would be a good balance for his skin. The fact that this doesn't have things that will irritate skin but still cleans well makes it an excellent option.When I first saw that the contents of the bottle were only 0.75ml, I was skeptical about how long it would last and about the value for the cost of the product. But after receiving the bottle it looked completely in line with the other products of its type. The bottle stands about 7 inches tall and is about an inch and a half in diameter. You don't need to use a lot of it, so I could see this lasting one person a while. It'll probably go faster with our son using it once a day, but that's probably not the way most people are going to use it.Overall, this product does what it states, at a price comparable for similar products. You are paying a bit of a premium here for the organic contents, and whether you feel that makes it worth it or not is subjective.
