I just want it to stop the draft coming through the floorboards. Packaging: I was pleasantly surprised at how compact and lightweight this rug is, in the vacuum-packed wrapping. I wanted a rug that would be easy for me to carry up two flights of stairs, and this rug comes packed so small and lightweight, very easy to carry. It’s amazing how big it expands when it comes out of the vacuum-pack. Keep in mind this is not heavy-duty carpet material. I recently bought the Andecor Bedroom Rug (4 x 6 feet) for my son's dorm room, and it has worked out perfectly. The rug is soft and plush and make his dorm feel more cozy versus the cold floors and walls that are standard in the dorms. The size is perfect for covering a good portion of the floor, and it gives the room some style. My son likes it and although is it not the best quality, it is holding up well and definitely worth the price.
