I found that they gave me more of a variety than I needed, at the moment. But the variety came in very handy. It is a β€œFixed” piece, I.e., a molded one piece adapter that will not come apart. It seems to be made of Aluminum, as it is light weight and a magnet did not cling to it in the slightest. It has a 1/4 20 threaded end on one side and 3/8” at the other. If this is too long, the Kit does come with smaller 1” (approximately) adapters with Threaded holes on each side, e.g., 1/4 20 hole on one side and 38” on the other side. In Addition, the Kit comes with a great many hardware pieces that allow you to interchange them as you need to. So, say you needed 1/4 20 on one side and 3/8 on the other or 2 1/4 20s on both sides or 2 3/8”s on both sides and so on. This is very good Kit that comes with a heck of a lot. It is very well priced, especially given all it comes with.
