Masking Product Glass cloth masking tapes are used in powder coating, stenciling and the blasting industry to mask areas that do not require coating or blasting. They can be used for insulating coil connections and cable harness wrapping. Glass Cloth masking tapes can also be used as a permanent sealant for high temperature ducts and chambers. They are known for their high temperature resistance. Glass cloth tapes are made of 5 mil thick glass cloth film and 3 mil thick silicone adhesive. These masking tapes can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degree F and are packaged in a 3" core and 33 yards long. Applicable for electrical insulation, powder coating, sandblasting, thermal spray. Applications requiring high tensile strength and good holding power. Resistant to Flagging and Varnish solvents. Sealing of high temperature ducts and chambers. Removes without adhesive residue after exposure to heat /chemical. Adhesion strength: 30 oz/in. Tensile strength: 170 lbs/inch. Elongation: 5 percent. Dielectric strength: 4500V. RoHS compliant.
