The body is made of sturdy metal and the click on and off switch is very durable. It even comes with some hardware you can use to mount it to the wall and a little carrying case. Now about the warranty. I was super impressed. I did end up breaking it. It slipped out of my hand and hit the counter and it didn't work right after that. The on off switch wouldn't stay on or sometimes wouldn't turn off. Please note that I use this mixer at least twice a day for about 6 months before it broke. I was looking for something to blend the fats in my keto coffee without taking forever to clean up afterwards, with my busy day the last thing I want is to have to spend several minutes cleaning up a blender of any kind.
