Have read in reviews that some people had the same problem. So in the end we had to make our own same size tray with slightly higher sides to give her a better boundary, and a better indication of where the edges are, and were to stop. Have kept the grid to now use on our own higher sided tray. Potty training is still ongoing, but now hopefully with better results 🤞.
