A solid but flexible hiking shoe built for all-day comfort and technical hikes, via ferrata and trekking tours in any terrain and in any weather - with grippy Vibram sole and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX protection. Suede upper The Salewa Mountain Trainer 2 hiking shoes are equipped with a suede upper and offer a wider range of protection. The leather upper protects feet from dirt and sharp objects and minimises the risk of wear and tear. To avoid damp feet and therefore cushioned spirits, there is a Gore-Tex membrane inside the shoe, which offers a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. GORE-TEX keeps the water on the outside while allowing sweat to escape from the inside out. This reduces sweat to a minimum and you feel cool and comfortable. The shoe uses Salewa's 3F system to further improve the fit. This system improves the flexibility of the upper, which also provides support and a bubble-free fit, dramatically improving the feel of the shoe and eliminating irritation and distractions associated with an uncomfortable fit. The upper is completed by an elastic gaiter that keeps rain and groundwater away and ensures an irritation-free fit.
