I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a product like this for their kids. It's a bit on the smaller side for an older child, I'd say 5 or older may need something larger but these work pretty well.

**Q: Can these go in water?**
A: Yes they are plastic

**Q: I am missing most of the lowercase and a few of the uppercase letters?**
A: I'd send them back for new ones.  Mine had all upper and lower case letters.  They are very dangerous for little ones though.  The magnets aren't very well installed in them and kids bite out the magnets.  I ended up throwing mine away.

**Q: Are these small enough to fit inside an easter egg? for an easter egg letter scavenger hunt**

I have to admit that I wish the magnet was a bit stronger, but I think for younger children to use, the strength is about right. It keeps everything on my magnet board, even though it has a very thin piece of cotton material over it. The container is smaller than I thought it would be, good for storage, but the letters and numbers are an okay size. The photoshopped pictures in the listing make them look larger than the actually are, except for the photo with the baby.
