## Description

Product description The PS2 PlayStation 2 HDMI provided by Kaico is designed so you can use your PlayStation 2 PS2 console on a Modern TV with a simple 'plug and play' solution. The high-quality PS2 HD converter will provide you with a much clearer image than a standard PS2 AV cable. Compatible with all TVs with a HDMI input. The cable does need additional power and this is carried by a Micro USB cable which is supplied. Compatible with European, Japanese, and North American region PlayStation 2 Consoles both 'Phat' and 'Slim'. Please Note: This PlayStation 2 HDMI adapter is designed to be a simple and effective HDMI upgrade/conversion from the standard composite and SCART PS2 cable that came as stock. ALSO NOTE : THIS ADAPTER ONLY SUPPORTS THE COMPONENT SIGNAL FROM THE PS2 CONSOLE (NOT RGB) THIS MEANS IT ONLY SUPPORTS PS2 GAMES AND WILL NOT WORK WHEN PLAYING PS1 GAMES. YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE DISPLAY SETTINGS OF THE PS2 CONSOLE FOR THIS HDMI ADAPTER TO WORK. IF YOU ARE ONLY SEEING A BLACK SCREEN AND DONT HAVE THE ORIGINAL PS2 CABLES TO MAKE THE REQUIRED CHANGES YOU CAN CHANGE THE DISPLAY SETTINGS WITH THE FOLLOWING METHOD 1 - START THE CONSOLE WITH NO DISC OR MEMORY CARD INSERTED 2 - WAIT 10 SECONDS TO GET TO THE MAIN MENU 3 - PRESS DOWN ON THE DPAD AND THEN CONFIRM WITH THE X BUTTON 4 - WAIT 5 SECONDS TO MAKE SURE THE SETTINGS MENU IS LOADED 5 - PRESS DOWN ON THE DPAD 3 TIMES AND THEN CONFIRM WITH THE X BUTTON 6 - FINALLY PRESS RIGHT ON THE DPAD AND CONFIRM AGAIN WITH THE X BUTTON. THIS SHOULD SUCCESSFULLY CHANGE YOUR PS2 DISPLAY OUTPUT SETTINGS FROM RGB TO YPbPr. As this adapter converts the highest quality output of an Original Playstation 2 (Component) you get the best quality visuals out of your old PS2 console. PS2 AV Cable HDMI Adapter Basics The Playstation 2 HDMI adapter is compatible with Sony Playstation 2's from all regions. ■ Converts audio/video signal with zero transmission ps2 hdmi ■ No more need for additional cables or HDMI to SCART/Composite converters ■ A simple, attractive, modern Sony Playstation 2 HDMI converter offering a true 'plug and play' solution ■ Clear, sharp graphics and text ■ Supports Progressive and Interlaced Scan resolutions. Kaico Edition Kaico provides a simple 'plug and play' solution to give users easy access to use a HDMI input on a modern TV. Before this the only options for PS2 to HD TV playback was a compendium of multiple converters and cables which was a complete eye sore. The Kaico version of the PS2 HD Link adapter is designed to circumvent that by offering a simple yet cost effective solution. This means there is no need for a messy and unnecessary jumble of cables and converters. Just one simple cable from Playstation console to HD TV. Black Plastic Housing to Fit the PS2 A small, discreet, and high-quality built unit made of plastic. Comes with 45cm Micro USB cable for power which can be plugged into the front PS2 USB ports. Multi-regional Playstation Support Supports all PS2 Consoles from all Regions and also works with all PlayStation 2 games. Boxed with instructions Each unit comes boxed with a user guide. Simply 'plug & play' Finally play all your retro classics with a high quality yet cost-effective solution

Review: It's not working please - The item I bought it's not working please
Review: One of the best PS2 to HDMI converters out there - I've been trying different PS2 to HDMI converters through the years, ever since I brought my PS2 out of storage. The one I stuck with the longest was Levelhike. It had pretty good quality, especially for the price. I also just didn't want to break the bank with those high end converters (often costing over 100 dollars) so it was good enough for me. After about 2 years though, I got curious and wanted to see if I could find anything better. I decided to just keep trying out different HDMI converters in hopes that I could find better quality. I saw a video on YouTube talking about different HDMI converters and surprisingly no one mentioned Kaico. It was from a comment that I saw someone recommend it. I had bought and tried it for myself and they were completely right. Kaico's HDMI converter looked absolutely stunning compared to Levelhike. The colors were better, the on-screen text and textures looked sharper, and the image mostly filled the screen (just had 2 small black bars on the sides but you don't notice them). I have to say that I'm very surprised and impressed by the quality. I had tried another brand before this, ElectronPulse, and they had all sorts of demonstrations and reviews on their website of how "high tech" their HDMI converter was. I wasn't too impressed by it when I personally tried it out. It felt on par with Levelhike, and honestly, I kind of felt like it may have even been a step down in visual quality, but there were times where I couldn't clearly tell unless I took a side by side picture (which I didn't do but I wish I did). But anyway, I highly recommend you try out Kaico's HDMI converter. Its honestly really good. I tried it on both a Samsung and Sony TV and it worked on both. I had a weird issue where Levelhike wouldn't work on my Sony. It would be weirdly stretched out and if you looked closely, the image would have a staticky shaking effect. It was bizarre and even the company couldn't answer me as to why it wasn't compatible. But I'm happy to say that Kaico works great on my Sony. On a side note, I'd also recommend Zeskit Maya's 8k HDMI cables. They're 2.1 certified and one of the best on the market at an affordable price. They really help bring the most out of my consoles, especially the PS2. You won't regret it. Edit:just wanted to clarify with the black bars on the TV. For some reason, it's very small and barely noticeable on my Samsung tv that I use to play on in my living room. Whenever I choose to play on my Sony tv in my bedroom, the black bars are bigger and more noticeable, giving it almost like a 4:3 aspect ratio look. If you have anime or tv shows from the 90s/2000s on dvds, you know exactly what I mean because the picture back then wasnt made in wide screen like today. Its very weird that the aspect ratio is like this for my tvs. It actually was in wide screen for the first time I used Kaico on my Sony, but then it just automatically defaulted to the 4:3 look. Just wanted to put that out there that it might look different on different tv brands like it did for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCELENTE PRODUCTO
*by A***W on 23 June 2025*
