The platform itself is 19 inches. I am using it right now and had a tape measure handy. **Q: does this have something on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around?** A: The feet have grippers. Mine is also on carpet & next to the hard drive so no slipping. **Q: How high is the highest measurement? How high is the lowest measurement?** A: Four and one half inches usable height. I say four and one half inches although it can be extended an inch higher but mine will not maintain that height under much pressure. Lowest: a solid inch and a half. **Q: is it high enough if i don't want my feet to be below the level of my bottom while I'm setting on desk chair ? cuz i have sweelling if kept feet down** A: This will not raise up high enough to keep your feet at the level of your bottom--but it should keep your thighs parallel to the seat instead of them hanging down and putting pressure on the backs of your legs--which can also affect swelling. This works great and with the soft memory foam, it doesn't hurt your feet after hours of using it. I have tried the pure memory foam foot rest but that didnt help. This product is sturdy and have multiple function to adjust to suit the way you sit. Dont cheap out on a foot rest.
