I've been trying for years to find something halfway decent to put under my tuchus on my Herman Miller Aeron chair, and this pad is perfect. I've had it for about a week now and despite daily use haven't noticed the least crushing or matting of the wool. I can imagine though how something like this pad wouldn't stay put all that well on a car's leather seat though; in that case, I'd have to either recommend some DIY work to put straps on the pad, to hold it in place more securely, or else some other product.But for my office chair though, I love it.
