But the drawer box is made of thin flimsy plastic. Think fast food disposable plastic cup material. The weight of the tackle gear and the bouncing of the boat is sure to crack this thin plastic box. Bought two and I am really thinking twice about installing these. They've been in two different Jon boat builds. I stand on them and have twisted the hatch latches the wrong way too many times to mention. They are quality semi dry tackle hatches. Yes, Semi Dry. You'll have to drill your own drainage holes in the top. I also drilled some drainage holes in the bottom of the box as well as a back up. I lost tackle to rust before I did this, but now a-days I use all waterproof 3700 tackle boxes so no biggie anymore.
