I even tried medical grade silicone ones just to keep my holes open and those caused a reaction to where my ears wouldn’t stop bleeding. Now, I have worn these since I got them. My earlobe is nice and normal sized, no blood, redness, puss or pain. I do have some little baby crusts, but no more than what you’d get from eye boogies from sleep. They aren’t even noticeable until showering or cleaning so no big reactions! Plus they are ridiculously comfortable and I can lay on them without pain.
