A: I don't know, but I love the ones I've gotten that are continuously lighting.

**Q: Does the button need to be held down to keep lit or does it stay illuminated on its own once its pressed?**
A: It does need to be held down. Which is great! With a 3 year old who loves lights and consistently leaves them on... It's great that it turns off when he puts it down.

I have to say that at the beginning I was a little bit disappointed. I had to pay extra I for the customs. It was smaller that I thought. But my son loved it. It was super easy for him to used it. And the best part... after so many years it's still working.
