## Description

Replace Your Air Purifier Filter You love your Classic/BF35 purifier but it's been a while since you replaced its filter. Old, clogged filters can decrease the efficiency of your machine and raise your electric bill. Realistically, you should swap out the air filter every 10-12 months. Unfortunately, some replacements are quite pricey. Durabasics wanted to offer a top-quality option, but at a reasonable price. Our replacement filters give you 3 stages of air cleansing: 1. Pre-Filter: Made from activated carbon, the 1st layer completes initial filtration and combats unpleasant odors. 2. HEPA Filter: The middle layer is where the bulk of the filtration occurs. This includes pet fur, dander, and dust. 3. Carbon Filter: With little granules of carbon, the final layer has an increased surface area compared to the pre-filter. This helps combat any remaining odor and serves as a final filtration to clean your air. Durabasics BF35/Classic Filter Replacements: The Durabasics filter fits BF35 (Classic) air purifiers only. It is an exact match for this model and measures 15 13/32” x 14 ¼” x 2 13/32”. The filter replacement will: -Increase the efficiency of your air purifier -Reduce your electricity bill -Keep your air clean

Review: Works well and seems to be a good lower cost substitute - I was getting a little tired of paying authentic Alen brand filter prices so decided to try a lower cost option. I have now gone through 3 of these in my BreatheSmart Classic. The fit is good and no issues inserting or removing them. The life of the filter as about as good as the original. I have not done any scientific study (nor will I...) about if this brand filters out exactly the same sized particles as the original but it does collect as much dust and dirt on them as the originals when they are spent and the filter light turns red. We have two cats and really have not seen much difference from using these vs the original higher end filters. This may be different if you have smoke or other more more challenging contaminants in your home, but we are satisfied with the performance of these and will continue to use them.

I was getting a little tired of paying authentic Alen brand filter prices so decided to try a lower cost option. I have now gone through 3 of these in my BreatheSmart Classic. The fit is good and no issues inserting or removing them. The life of the filter as about as good as the original. I have not done any scientific study (nor will I...) about if this brand filters out exactly the same sized particles as the original but it does collect as much dust and dirt on them as the originals when they are spent and the filter light turns red.
