Podcasting and streaming** A: I have both mics, I used the sm7b as a narration mic for about a year. It's a good mic but it has more of a radio sound where it is meant to sound clean and flat and pleasing to the ears at most volumes. I switched to the stellar because the detail and natural sound it gives just sounds better to me. There is nothing wrong with the shure it is a great mic.
