An efficient way to maximize your water storage capacity in Pondless Waterfall reservoirs, Aquascape AquaBlox are also great for RainXchange projects and other water feature applications. The small size measures 26.5 x 16 x 9.5 inches (LxWxH) and has a 17 gallon volume, and the large size measures 26.5 x 16 x 17.5 inches (LxWxH) and has a 32 gallon volume.AquaBlox are manufactured using recycled materials and designed to efficiently maximize your water storage capacity, providing the ability to hold more water with a smaller reservoir footprint. Holding approximately 7.4 gallons of water per cubic foot, the Small AquaBlox allows over 3 times the water storage capacity than gravel will provide. This extra storage capacity will mean less time needed to top off the reservoir due to evaporation. Using AquaBlox will also decrease the amount of labor, liner, and underlayment required during installation.The load-bearing top supports up to 5,472 pounds per square foot, providing years of trouble-free enjoyment and allowing for installation in a wide variety of situations. Review: Very sturdy - I bought these to use on my Koi pond. We needed to cover it to prevent the kids from falling into it. We stacked them up and then covered the top with flagstone to make our pond into a pond less water feature… we left the bubbler and sump pump in place. Now we gave a water feature without the dangers of a pond for small kids or pets. The plastic material and pattern on the cages makes it pretty strong, we can walk on top with ease. These gave worked out perfectly for us.

I bought these to use on my Koi pond. We needed to cover it to prevent the kids from falling into it. We stacked them up and then covered the top with flagstone to make our pond into a pond less water feature… we left the bubbler and sump pump in place. Now we gave a water feature without the dangers of a pond for small kids or pets. The plastic material and pattern on the cages makes it pretty strong, we can walk on top with ease. These gave worked out perfectly for us.

I’m using it to keep water lilies at the right depth in my fountain/koi pond, and it’s perfect for that. It’s transformed my pond—my koi spawned! (Check it out—I’m a poet and I didn’t know it.) I guess all they needed was a little privacy.
