Stains from protein deposits, burnt food, etc. both inside and outside stainless steel pot or pan can easily be removed by using Barkeepers' Friend or Bon Amie (which are scouring powders that also come in a liquidy gel form), with a Dobie pad. Both products do an excellent job in restoring the shine to a good quality SSteel pan. I prefer using a Dobie pad instead of Scotch Brite pad (the green one) because Dobie is not as abrasive and less likely to scratch the finish. **Q: Does this stuff work well on a stainless steel sink, or is it just for appliances?** A: I use it for all my stainless steal....sink and appliances...polishes nice. **Q: Can this product be used on stainless steel tableware, spoons, etc.?** A: I could not recommend to use Cerama for tableware cause don't know if it would work, BUT would recommend another way to clean tableware since it did work. Try it, here is how: Take large or medium size pot, place aluminum foil size 8" x 8" or 10" x 10" on the bottom of pot, place tableware on the aluminum foil. Fill pot enough water to cover table ware by 4". Add table spoon of baking soda in the water. Place pot on the stove and turn on (gas or electricity). Wait till water will start boiling and keep it boiling for 2 - 3 minutes. Turn off stove and let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes. Rinse tableware with cold water and dry it well. That's it, tableware should look like new. I got it done and recommend you to try. **Q: Can I use this to shine the inside the oven?** A: Don’t do that !!!
