The service stops can be added so the water can be shut off at the valve to service it vs having to shut the main water supply to the home. **Q: Can this be installed upside down if supply pipes are coming from above?** A: Hi, thank you for contacting GROHE Consumer Connections. I would double up the wall to be safe. Basically build a wall on the inside from the insulation for where you want this.
