A: Directly from Loctite Specifications: High Temperature/High strength for extreme duty applications. Suited for fasteners to 1-1/2" & temperatures from -65 Deg & up to 450 Deg F. Removable with heat and hand tools. Application time=60min, Full cure=24hr, application temp ramge=72 Deg F

**Q: Is this supposed to be viscous? I had the 271 and it was liquid and would flow nicely on the threads. This doesn't...**
A: The 272 that I have is not thin and runny. It adhered to the threads very well.

**Q: hello, does it come full of liquid? or just less than the half?**
A: hi
henkel delibgerately uses a big bottle , so that half of it can be filled with nitrogen , this helps in keeping the compound in a liqid state , if there is no air present in the bottle , the compound will dry and solidify
the same explanation can be found on the net

however the liquid is as described  50ml/250 ml

**Q: will this be good for my ar15's muzzle brake?**
A: You betcha! Just remember if you ever want to take your brake off, use a heat gun to warm the loctite for easy removal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The chemical equivalent of not admitting defeat

Rivet nuts are great, right up until the hole is slightly too big and the whole thing spins uselessly like a tiny metal philosophy student. You can redrink the hole, you can try a bigger rivet nut, or you can do what any sensible person does at that point and reach for chemistry. Loctite 272 is the threadlocker you call when the situation has escalated beyond mechanical solutions and into the territory of “I will simply refuse to accept this outcome.” A small amount applied, left to cure, and those rivet nuts went from embarrassingly wobbly to absolutely immovable. They are now more committed to their position than I have been to anything in my adult life. High strength means high strength. This is not a product that hedges. It cures hard, holds fast, and will outlast the vehicle, the project, and quite possibly my interest in either. If your rivet nuts are spinning freely and your dignity is spinning with them, this is the bottle you want. Problem solved. I am, once again, a genius.
