Very generously poored the fluid on a magic rag and with the hands directional motion applied until there was no white fluid anywhere (important not to leave any fluid around). Took me 60min for 1000 sq ft and if I was not rubbing so much, probably would have been done in 40min. Left it to dry. came after 2hrs and it was beautiful to see. Left it overnight and the next afternoon applied the second coat (this time using Swifter poll and magic rag fitted on it). Left it for another 24hrs before walking on it. Floor looks brand new and I think that the trick is to rub it in with a magic cloth if you want the floor to look new, even after first coat + the more fluid you use in the coat, the longer it takes to dry (24hrs vs. 1hr). My wood floors are 50 years old and refinished. In high traffic areas all finish was worn off. There are 'paths' through the rooms and deep scratches from a previous homeowner moving heavy furniture. Last year I tried Weiman but spots were left if any water dripped. I just used the Rejuvenate. I cleaned the floors with the Rejuvenate Cleaner because I wanted to make sure I did the job right the first time. All the dry time seemed tedious, but results are good. I gave the worn-out areas a third and fourth coat. The 'shine’ doesn’t make the shiny parts look different, but the bare wood traffic patterns are now blended in. The scratches are there, but less noticeable. Also, I sprinkled water on the floor and let it sit for several minutes. The water pooled on top and didn’t soak in or leave a spot. If I can keep the floors looking at least this good, I probably won't hire someone to completely refinish them. **Q: can you use without floor cleaner?** A: This may work on Modern hardwood floors, but I have antique hardwood floors and this did nothing for them! **Q: What is the drying time?** A: Drying time 15 minutes **Q: Can this be used on vinyl floors?** A: this is not more polyurethane if you read the ingredients its a acrylic product , which is strippable with floor stripers for ACRYLIC polishes. The kind commercial janitors use. You should be able to use this on vinyl that is safe to strip. I was worried it would cause problems with adding a coating since I am not a handyman in any way. I used it and it turned my dull floor (looked dirty no matter how much I clean it) into almost brand new! I'm so happy I did it. It comes out fast like cloudy water. I used a microfiber cloth on a swifter to gild the product with a super-light touch. It was so easy. I left it to dry for 1 day. I vacuumed it first. Then used a swifter dry cloth to pick up any lint. Then I poured it right on the hardwood going a bit/section at a time. The jug was really heavy and it leaked all over my hands so be careful.
