The LED display has 3 brightness levels, so you can have it bright enough to see in full daylight and dim enough to let you sleep in a dark room. The alarm is a buzzer and is pretty loud. The alarm is very loud and woke me up. I’m a very heavy sleeper. It’s easy to read. The light is very bright but can be dimmed. Easy use also.
