Been growing this group for a year now, but for some reason they have been lethargic about food, I have been feeding them Hikari sinking gold and tried NLS as well. Every other fish loves hikari but Frontosas eat just enough to survive I guess. After feeding them the NorthFin 3mm cichlid pellets they started chasing after pellets and finally I get to see them eat. I know it is crazy for a year, till now I need to a corner in the tank hoping they get few. But for the first time they have started feeding out in open and catching the pellets ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Review: Premium African Cichlid Food!!! - After a week of feeding to my Red Top Lwanda breeder group, the males colors have popped!!! the females and the male are spunky and love this food. One female is now holding eggs in her mouth and not eating. I purchased the 1mm. Should have purchased the 3mm for the full grown cichlids. What was I thinking?. The fish dont care. My cichlids have never looked healthier or more vibrant since I made the switch to this exceptional product. Firstly, I appreciate the high-quality ingredients used in this formula. It's evident that Northfin prioritizes the health and well-being of aquatic life, as every pellet is packed with essential nutrients and proteins to support optimal growth and coloration. What sets these pellets apart is their slow-sinking nature. This feature allows all my cichlids, regardless of size or swimming abilities, to enjoy a balanced diet without competition or waste. Plus, it mimics the natural feeding behavior of cichlids, promoting a more natural and enriching feeding experience. Another highlight is the minimal waste produced by these pellets. Unlike some other brands that leave behind residue, Northfin pellets are highly digestible, ensuring maximum nutrient absorption and minimal impact on water quality. This means less time spent on maintenance and more time enjoying my aquarium. Moreover, I'm impressed by the consistency of the pellet size and texture. It makes feeding a breeze and ensures that each fish receives the appropriate portion size without any hassle. Overall, Northfin Fish Food Cichlid Formula Slow Sinking Pellets has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From its premium ingredients to its thoughtful design, this product has earned its rightful place as a staple in my cichlid tank. I highly recommend it to any aquarist looking to provide their cichlids with top-notch nutrition and care. ## Frequently Bought Together - Northfin Cichlid Formula Fish Food โ€“ Slow Sinking Pellets for Cichlids (2mm, 250g) | Premium High-Protein, All-Natural Cichlid Diet to Enhance Color & Growth โ€“ No Fillers, No Hormones, Made in Canada - Northfin Veggie Fish Food Formula โ€“ Slow Sinking Pellets for Herbivorous Fish (2mm, 250g) | Premium Organic Kelp-Based Diet with Spirulina & Astaxanthin for Enhanced Color & Digestive Health - Northfin Fish Food Krill Formula Slow Sinking Pellets (2mm 250g) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - ๐Ÿ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** โ€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - ๐ŸŒ **Shop Globally** โ€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - ๐Ÿ’ฐ **No Hidden Fees** โ€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - ๐Ÿ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** โ€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - ๐Ÿ”’ **Secure Payments** โ€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - โญ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** โ€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/29663886-cichlid-fish-food-sinking-pellets-2mm-250g](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/29663886-cichlid-fish-food-sinking-pellets-2mm-250g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
