**Q: Can you hook another waste hose using this connector to add another wast hose for addional length to waste water out??**
A: Yes but it's junk don't buy. Instead go to Lowe's and get a rubber coupler with hose clamps much more sturdy than that piece of plastic and only a $1 or $2 more. It fits to loose on that white plastic to stay together

**Q: What is the inside diameter of the smallest end? I'm needing a 1 inch inside diameter.**
A: Mine are installed, i think the inside dia is about 1"

**Q: Is this hard plastic?  i wanted to clamp a automatic in-line chlorine feeder using a saddle clamp  connector to it without it crushing.**
A: It's hard-ish. It's plastic and not terribly heavy-weight stuff. On the other hand, it's probably worth a try.  A saddle clamp should distribute the pressure evenly. The round, ribbed shape should be relatively strong.

**Q: I have a 1 1/2" hose that I need to connect to 1 1/4" male on the pump, will this work? It uses a hose clamp**
A: It will work. The way they made it is not great.  It has a smooth taper with ribs at different diameters, that rib is the only place where the hose clamp can bite. The result is that if the hose is not moved very carefully once connected it will come apart.  I found this too frustrating to deal with.
