Review: Well made and does the job. - I'm delighted with it. Very strong and well constructed. I bought it to apply wood preservative on to the top of a feather boarded fence and it was very efficient at doing it -- preservative delivered to the required spot with no waste, job done in no time.
Review: Great syphon pump - Used this to extract fluids which had got into the engine bay in our narrowboat. Worked really well and suctioned up the liquid effectively. It did start to 'stick' a bit and needed force to pull up after a while because of small bits of grit which got sucked up. But perseverance paid off and now the engine bay is clear of erroneous liquids.

**Q: Can this be used to bleed brakes? Ie by placing the hose to a calliper bleed screw and sucking fluid through from the master cylinder ?**
A: Hi,
You could, but it would be hard work. I've bought a dedicated pump (£13.85 On eBay- item no: 184633328443) that only requires one hand and is 100% reliable. 
The pump you're considering is great for filling gear boxes.

**Q: What are the rubber O rings actually for?**
A: As far as I remember (I used my syringe 5 months ago) the oil seals are a spare set to fit the plunger that has 2 "O" rings as shown in the photos.

**Q: Will this reverse bleed brakes - I.e force fluid in through the bleed nipple**
A: In theory yes, in practice no I've tried with brakes completely dry no good, maybe if they're already full of fluid

**Q: Work for motorcycle?**
A: as long as you can get the pipe though the hole this pump works well . I use it on my lawn mower and boat engine hope this helps

Worked perfectly, comes with spare seals too, I used it to take a sample from the bottom of. Fuel tank, the pipes that come with it are a bit short to use for anything other than filling really, however I have rolls of pipe which fit the push fit end. Worked far better than expected for the price so it’s great value for money and seems pretty robust, 10/10
