Of course as you can see it failed dramatically. Although it is Made in the USA, the thoughts and ideas was not in existence when it was made by our folks at home. This thing slipped and could not grab the filter cover so badly. I have been taking our car to the shop for a simple oil change. It fits but just couldn't turn without slipping. The Caldera on the other hand, as you can see has teeth on it which grabs the filter housing grooves. The Caldera grasp and hold the filter cover perfectly that it will take the cover off without slipping. Once off do not, I repeat, do not try to remove the wrench from the filter cover. Just replace the filter and install it back to the car. The wrench will come off on its own when you are tightening the cover back to the car. Caldera is the one that will work for your Toyota oil filter cover housing. Do not buy the one on the right or any other ones that looks similar. I actually would like to get a refund from Amazon on the other one that failed. Im giving the Caldera a 4 star because this could've been made with a 1/2 inch drive instead of the smaller 1/4 inch. Other than that, for the price, it is the best one to get. ### ⭐ This wrench is very fragile *by B***O on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2021* My Prius came off of dealer maintenance period a few months ago. It is time to change engine oil, so I bought the tool to change oil myself. However, the last dealer mechanic must have overtightened the filter housing, it was stuck. I have the car off the ground (on Quickjack) hoping to gain leverage to undo the filter. I did gain leverage but the filter housing won over this piece of broken aluminum. ### ⭐⭐ Too tight for 2015 Toyota Prius *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2017* I purchased this filter wrench because it appeared on line to be good quality metal wrench but when I received it I found that I would not sit down over the entire oil cartridge cover/cap on my Prius. Consequently during the removal of the oil filter cartridge cover/cap this wrench bound and made it virtually impossible to remove the two pieces from one another without prying or hammering to get them apart. Not a good time to find out that this wrench is sized too small for my Prius oil filter cartridge/cover. It appears that this tool need a dimensional check because it will not fully engage down over the entire/cover properly.
