**Q: How sturdy are the pockets?**
A: The pockets are sturdy.  The plastic is thick.

**Q: What are the spiral binders made of? Plastic? Metal?**
A: The spirals are made of plastic.  However, they seem very durable.  I love mine and use it all the time.

**Q: How many pages will fit in each pocket?**
A: It holds a lot of pages, but when you fill each pocket with 10-15 pages each, the binder becomes overloaded.

**Q: How thick is the spiral? Could I take folders out and keep the spiral to have only 6 folders?**
A: The spiral is compact -- only 1/2" in diameter.  It is a continuous wind to prevent pockets from falling out so they would be a little difficult to remove.  You could, however cut the dividers out.  There are 12 dividers with a pocket on each side for a total of 24 pockets.  Because it is compact, I personally would leave the unused pockets in.  Hope this helps.

I purchased this for work to keep my vendor invoices and miscellaneous receipts in. I have a tab for each of my vendors and this works perfectly to help me keep all of that organized. I love the multiple colors and the customizable, printable tabs that come with it are great! I created a custom front cover which slides right into the front pocket. I had been looking for something like this for a long time and hadn't found exactly what I wanted. A coworker had this and when I saw it I knew I had to have one! I will be purchasing one for each year to keep track of all these invoices and I'm always looking for other things I need to organize that I can use this for as well. The folder holds up well with daily use and being thrown in my work bag.
