It cuts perfectly, makes a very nice overstitch and for my purposes it’s great. Very easy to install as long as you know that the screw slip and the lever slip have to be maneuvered slightly on an angle towards the right side of your machine to get it all on at the same time, it if you’ve used a ruffler foot then you have the experience. It’s a short learning curve. Excellent product, but then again, it’s a singer so I expect excellence. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Serger finish *by S***S on September 22, 2024* Item arrived o time. Hooked up to machine as soon as it arrived and worked flawlessly. This Side cutter pressure foot works with my Singer heavy duty 4432 and gives a nice overcast stitch to protect seams from fraying while cutting off excess fabric. I had a serger but gave it a way because I wasn’t using it enough to justify taking up space in craft room.. This Foot makes up for it. While it’s not as good as a serger it serves it purpose. For those that struggle of say it doesn’t work, watch a video on proper use, most likely you don’t have fabric positioned properly over/ under foot. I have one of the brother side cutters for my brother machine and It is great too.
