La piastra scivola con facilità e la punta sagomata permette di stirare anche le parti più difficili (tra i bottoni delle camicie, gli angoli delle spalle e sotto le ascelle, etc). Non c'è più il selettore di vapore in 6 posizioni crescenti (io avevo un modello Philips Azur vecchio di 10 anni) ma ci sono solo 3 funzioni: a secco, Eco (regolazione automatica di vapore in base al tessuto impostato con il termostato) e vapore.
