**Q: Can this go over a shower curtain rod too, or just a thin closet rod?**
A: Yes. The curve fits fairly big dianeter rods. I put it on my curtain rod and it fits with enough fit & play - not snug at all. Could hook it to curtain rod and move it freely left/right.

**Q: How much weight can this hold?**
A: I have a bike repair stand hanging by a strap from one of these hooks without any problems. That's at least 30 pounds of weight.

**Q: Would it work to hang a bath towel?**
A: I bought the InterDesign Classico Tie/Belt Rack, Matte Black which has about 20 hooks give or take.  That would definitely not work for a bathtowel.  If the one with just 2 hooks has the same size hooks, it would not work for a towel. But  it's hard to know without seeing it.  I would think there might be better items out there.

**Q: how long is this item and will the loops fit over a one inch rod?**
A: Hello, The hook is 5 1/4 inches top to bottom.  The S part is 1 1/2 inches and works well with a 1 inch rod.  I have two in my Rubbermaid closet and it works well on the very small rod too.
