Since it looked like something I could use, I got on their website and started looking at all the options. Some looked cheaply made. Others were overpriced. This one looked like a good value, so I bought it. There was a watermelon waiting when it arrived, and I was so pleased with the results. My dad used to cut up watermelons into chunks for snacking using a knife, but I didn't have the knack or patience to do it. This allowed me to do the same quality of job as he did, and in a fraction of the time. I eat a lot more watermelon now because it is so easy to slice it. I have even figured out how to pick super sweet melons. Look for a solid melon, medium green, yellowish spot, lots of bee stings (light brown bumpy patches, with a little bit of brown stuff coming out) make sure it's heavy for its size. A good watermelon and one of these slicers, you'll be eating a whole lot of that sweet nutritious treat that comes in so many varieties. Bon appetit, don't forget the napkins. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow, it really works *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2016* I bought this thinking it might work, the blades are not sharp so you can not cut yourself, I bought a water melon which is typically a pain to cut up. I sliced the water melon in half and then used the corer, I was totally impressed, the first half I di d not cut all the way to the bottom, by the second half i cut it down to the core. It took less than 5 minutes from start to finish and the only water melon juice on the counter after being finished was from when I sliced the water melon in half.
