Using these kill battery powered drill batteries quickly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well When Used Properly *by A***Z on July 18, 2025* I ordered 2 on separate orders. A 10" and an 8" length. My first one was working well as designed. It ruined on me after only the 8th hole drilling. All my fault. I accidently hit a Simpson Strong Tie 1 1/2" hanger nail on the other side of the double joist and 4x6 post. The screw tip got destroyed and got dull of course but completed about 2 more holes before I went to a spade bit to complete the job. Not the tool's fault for being destroyed. Drills through pressure treated lumber with ease and minimal need to wobble the bit. It seems to pull itself in as well like some of the name brand auger type wood drill bits. I like the 3/8" hex type shank. More torque allowed with a 20v Dewalt drill driver. Thought I was going to be able to use it with my 12v Dewalt impact driver in a pinch but the shank is not going to fit the 1/4" impact driver's bit holder.
