Review: Quality, durability and price in one great cup! - During a period of about 3 years I've purchased four different types of these double walled glass mugs for coffee. Living alone I make one cup of coffee at a time and prefer to prepare a large one of 10-12 ounces and want it to remain hot as long as possible. That is my number one priority. Secondly is durability. This is by far the best of these I've owned. It is heavier glass and has a wooden top with a synthetic seal around the edge instead of single walled glass. It doesn't rattle and sweat and release heat the way the others I've purchased have. Also it is very sturdy. The others have been much more fragile. The best of the lot has shattered twice. Once when the handle caused a crack which fractured the whole cup and the other when my dog bump it off on the carpet from the arm of my chair. Another one had a shattered lid when it arrived despite careful packaging. In short this one has all features I want at a cheaper price than the previously best of the lot. It seems to be thicker with a larger dead space between the walls because it retains heat longer as well!! However this means it isn't really a 16 ounce cup. It isn't even a 12 ounce in practice. 10 is about the safest amount if the lid is to be used.

No logos at all, no Starbucks or anything. Looks like a fine piece of art. No cracks, or noticeable defects, in fact, my only issue was it was dirty, but that's not really something to complain about. You should always wash stuff like this first anyway before you use it. One thing I didn't expect, is the lid is hollow. It's a shaped thin piece of glass. Nice, just not what I expected. Assumed it would be thick, and heavier. On the plus side, it's pleasantly designed well for cleaning. The lid has enough space inside to get a sponge fully inside, and scrub it out. No crevice is hard to reach. So, to summarize; Good condition Good packaging No logo Easy to clean Well sealed hole I'll update if I come across anything that needs to be added. For now, I just want to say that considering it is glass, and a complicated design, sometimes there's accidents, sometimes there's defects, sometimes a products arrives in pour quality. Don't hold that against the company unless they are unwilling to replace it. Give them a chance to give you a quality product, cause something like this is worth having, but when dealing with glass, there's just no guarantee. I'm writing this to say you can get what you pay for. A very nice mug to have coffee, or tea, or hot chocolate, or whatever drink you may enjoy. Just don't forget it's glass, and be mindful, and careful with it.

During a period of about 3 years I've purchased four different types of these double walled glass mugs for coffee. Living alone I make one cup of coffee at a time and prefer to prepare a large one of 10-12 ounces and want it to remain hot as long as possible. That is my number one priority. Secondly is durability. This is by far the best of these I've owned. It is heavier glass and has a wooden top with a synthetic seal around the edge instead of single walled glass. It doesn't rattle and sweat and release heat the way the others I've purchased have. Also it is very sturdy. The others have been much more fragile. The best of the lot has shattered twice. Once when the handle caused a crack which fractured the whole cup and the other when my dog bump it off on the carpet from the arm of my chair. Another one had a shattered lid when it arrived despite careful packaging. In short this one has all features I want at a cheaper price than the previously best of the lot. ### ⭐ INSIDE LAYER CRACKED AGAIN ON REPLACEMENT

Ordered this mug a month ago and got a replacement. The replacement was defective also. There is a hairline crack in the inside layer on the rim. Water leaks in and the glass fogs up and doesn't dry. It's the same glass mug I bought from Starbucks which lasted years. The current ones must be from a bad batch. Not replacing for a second time. Too bad because it's a great cup.
